HEALTH CARE
Integrated Cancer Treatment & Research Centre (ICTRC) was conceptualized in 1986 with a vision to reduce the pain and suffering of cancer patients. Revered P. K. Sardeshmukh Maharaj initiated the project along with the renowned Ayurvedic physician Dr. S. P. Sardeshmukh & Dr. Arvind Kulkarni, Ex-HOD, Radiation–Oncology Department, Bombay Hospital, Mumbai.
Integrated Cancer Treatment & Research Centre became fully operational in 1994. It is a multi-centric project with centres at Mumbai, Solapur, Kolhapur, Nashik & New Delhi-Gurgaon. Cancer patients suffering from various types of cancer at various stages are treated with surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and ozone therapy along with complimentary Ayurvedic treatment in the centre.
The centre is co-ordinated by Dr. Shirish Kumthekar, a well-known Onco-Surgeon at Solapur, Dr. Tushar Patil – renowned Medical Oncologist, Dr. Jagadish Shinde – Onco-Radiologist, Dr. Keyur Gutte & Dr. Anil Sanganeria – Onco-Surgeon & Dr. Deepak Ladda – Onco-Pathologist. At present a team of more than 50 dedicated Ayurvedic and Allopathic physicians, expert in the field of cancer, contributes towards the betterment of cancer patients through their expertise. Research on cancer epidemiology and cancer treatment is the integral part of the project.

BSDT is recognised as Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by Department of Science & Technology (DST) for performing scientific research in the field of Ayurved. ICTRC is affiliated to Indian Cancer Society.
